Residential and Commercial Heating Services

One of the biggest and most essential investments in your home, your gas furnace protects you and your family throughout the winter. That's why, here at R.A. Heating & Air Conditioning, we feature Armstrong Air and Carrier products..

A modern furnace can be up to twice as efficient as many 10-year-old models, saving you up to 50% in operating costs and offering 98.5% energy efficiency. Over their lifespan, they can pay for themselves many times over!

Get Better Service From Your HVAC System Now

In addition to getting our annual inspection, you can take simple measures to help your HVAC system last longer and provide better service.

  • Ensure your furniture doesn't block the airflow from the register or back to the return grill
  • Keep an eye on your furnace filter and make sure it's clean
  • Trim weeds and other foliage away from any outdoor HVAC unit
  • Listen for unusual sounds from your system and call us right away
  • If your system isn't working at all, check your circuit breaker before calling for help
  • Since every change wastes energy, adjust your thermostat as little as possible
  • To lower the demands on your air conditioner and to reduce excessive moisture inside your home, ensure your clothes dryer is properly vented to the outdoors
  • During lightning storms that make your power flicker, turn your thermostat to the off position until the storm passes

hibu-tm

We had some trouble over the winter with our furnace and they tried to help over the phone as it was a Friday night and freezing. When the tech was at the house he took the time to explain how the system worked and why our problem was happening and even how to fix it ourselves in the future if we wished (this was a minor problem). Super responsive and helpful. They have earned our business for years to come for sure.
